The Talitha Cumi Safe Haven Ministries Program has enriched my life. The program has enlightened me spiritually. I have learned with God all things are possible. I have gained friendships that I will cherish forever. I have gained my self-esteem back and realized that I am somebody because I am a child of God. The program helped me to develop the gift I’ve always had inside of me and that was the gift of giving. I’ve learned to treat everyone equally. I believe that no one person is better than the other and that we are all God’s children. If God can forgive us for our wrongs, I should be able to forgive my brothers and sisters. The Talitha Cumi Safe Haven Ministries has helped me to become more patient and understanding of others. The program has helped me to become more involved with my spiritual beliefs. The Talitha Cumi Safe Haven Ministries Program has helped me to realize that there is a better life than that of the addiction world. It helped me realize that God does forgive you for your sins and one can be made whole again. The program has helped me to have the drive and ambition to excel to higher goals. It taught me that I have to help other women that come into this ministry, help them to keep their eyes on the prize which is God and he will lead them towards the path that is right for them. The director and assistant director are available to help me with any problems that I may come upon 24 hours a day. Knowing this makes my conversion from being dependent to independent less stressful. I would recommend this program to other women who want peace in their lives.

The program that I have listed has kept me uplifted and has helped with my self-esteem. I believe that this program is a God-send! The program provides for individual time which allows for my progressive and positive substance abuse recovery transition period. Even though I am returning to my previous place of residence at the end of the year, I will still continue to utilize the program throughout my recovery.
